Welcome

Birmingham is starting the new decade with an action-packed 2010 as it continues to work towards its goals to become a leading global event city, knowledge capital and international city of choice delivering a world-class visitor experience.

Highlights for this year include welcoming the spring Liberal Democrat conference and the autumn Conservative Party conference, a wealth of arts activities such as the renowned Flatpack Festival, 20th anniversary of Birmingham Royal Ballet and Artsfest.  We will also host gastronomic spectacles such as the Délice Good Food Network ‘City under the Microscope’ and Taste of Birmingham 2010. On top of all this, we are celebrating the arrival of the British Science Festival to the city, providing the chance for Birmingham to showcase its science and innovation talents.

We hope you can join us.
