Birmingham has the venues, transport links and accommodation to cater for the large influx of visitors that the Commonwealth Games would attract. Most importantly, the city has passionate sports fans in abundance, eager to enjoy the sporting entertainment with visitors from around the world.
The Diamond League, ICC Champions Trophy, Rugby World Cup and Aegon Classic are just some of the major competitions to take place here – and we’re looking forward to Birmingham’s first ever International Marathon later this year.
