Meet Birmingham in India
The Meet Birmingham team will be promoting Birmingham’s conference offering with proactive sales missions in India.
Working in association with VisitBritain, the Meet Birmingham team will be in India on 28th and 29th October for a series of one-to-one meetings with approximately 140 key incentive, corporate meeting and events organisers, in addition to relevant associations.
Sian Roberts, Event Manager, Meet Birmingham said: “Birmingham is already staging major UK exhibitions and conferences, and enjoys great success as a global events destination. However, we’re not resting on our laurels; we are out there knocking on doors in key markets and spreading the word about the city’s world class conferencing offer. The response we received in the meetings was extremely positive and we look forward to welcoming yet more international conferences and events to Birmingham in the future.”
In the past 3 years alone Meet Birmingham has helped to secure over 12 major events for the city worth over £60 million.
