Raymond Blanc to launch bmibaby Lunch Club

Michelin-starred chef Raymond Blanc opened the doors of his restaurant, Brasserie Blanc to
the bmibaby Lunch club, in association with Birmingham Bites.

Raymond, who’s currently fronting The Restaurant on BBC 2 launched the new Lunch club
and offered guests the opportunity to enjoy his restaurant’s modern French cuisine.

The bmibaby Lunch club celebrates the airline’s 22 routes from Birmingham International
Airport, ranging from Aberdeen to Madrid; Belfast to Rome. The exclusive Lunches allow city
businesses to dine at a wide range of restaurants across the city, with the restaurant and
menu themed around a selected bmibaby destination at each event.

David Hodge, marketing director at bmibaby says:
“bmibaby are proud to work with Marketing Birmingham to launch the bmibaby lunch club.
Together we are holding lunch clubs across the region to highlight the fantastic restaurant
offerings that are available in the area, and to encourage the Birmingham business
community to make the most of the range of worldwide cuisine for both business and leisure
purposes.”

Dave Hodgson, marketing director at Marketing Birmingham, says:
“We’re delighted that Raymond Blanc is helping us to get the bmibaby Lunch Club off to a
flying start. Our Birmingham Bites campaign allows us to put the spotlight on the city’s great
food and drink offering, and working with bmibaby helps us to showcase it to Birmingham’s
businesses.”
