Attend our Birmingham Ambassador Workshop on Saturday 24th April

BMG Research has been commissioned to run a workshop on behalf of Marketing Birmingham. This workshop will aim to inspire and inform a group of Birmingham residents to help them act as ambassadors for their city in their daily lives.

Marketing Birmingham works in partnership with Birmingham City Council, Advantage West Midlands and Visit Britain, to quantifiably improve national and international perceptions of Birmingham, delivering real economic returns for the city.

The event will take place on Saturday 24th April, from 10am to 4.15pm at a central Birmingham venue.

The event will be attended by a cross-section of Birmingham residents who will watch presentations, take part in discussions, and break off into smaller activity groups throughout the day, led by a BMG facilitator. At the end of the day participants will draw up a set of individual pledges that they feel happy about committing to. This may involve, for example, helping visitors by giving directions, or telling people from outside Birmingham more about the city.

For the following three months a free phone line, and a dedicated email address will be in place to allow ambassadors to feed back examples of what they have been doing or information about Birmingham that they think might be useful for fellow ambassadors. A further session will then be held in the summer when ambassadors will be invited to reconvene, and receive an update on the programme.

Full refreshments will be provided but please note that expenses or incentives will NOT be paid on this occasion. Participants will receive a certificate and ‘Ambassador toolkit’ which will include promotional materials on Birmingham that will help them act as ambassadors. Refreshments and lunch will be provided.

Places will be awarded on a first come first serve basis.  For more information and to book a place, please contact BMG Research on 0121 333 6006 or alternatively via email: ambassadors@bmgresearch.co.uk
