Meet Birmingham

Birmingham Convention Bureau is giving visitors a taste of the city at Visit Britain’s stand at EIBTM this month. Birmingham Convention Bureau (BCB) is at the global meetings and incentive exhibition in Barcelona to showcase Birmingham as an international conferences and events city. The team is offering bars of Cadburys chocolate, which originates from the city.

Fitting in with the theme of Innovation, Science and Discovery at EIBTM this year, the confectionary is on offer to highlight one of the many inventions from Birmingham. Cadbury chocolate was discovered in 1831 and sits alongside gas lighting, custard powder, and the x-ray in a list of inventions from the city.

On the stand, BCB is providing visitors with a wealth of information about the city’s conference and event venues, as well as showing the new film about the city ‘Meet Birmingham’.
