Marketing Birmingham has welcomed a new member to its PR team, following an exciting year for the organisation with several high profile campaigns being launched.

Charlotte Beeching has joined as External Affairs Manager from Birmingham agency BG
Communications and her appointment reflects the high level of on-going activity taking place to promote the city on a regional, national and international stage.

Dave Hodgson, Marketing Director said: “Our PR department is inundated with media enquiries, arranging media visits and securing media coverage for our lifestyle campaigns so we are delighted to welcome Charlotte to the team to prepare for an exciting 2007.

“She will be ensuring that local and regional media are fully informed of what we’re up to and
find the organization easily accessible, as well as promoting the Conference Ambassadors
Programme which is designed to attract more conferencing business to the region.

“Charlotte’s appointment brings the PR team up to four, which is double where we were this time last year.”
