Eggstra Fun at Coventry Transport Museum this Easter!
11th – 24th April 2009
Coventry Transport Museum has a packed calendar of events for adults and children to have eggstra fun this Easter with crafts galore.
Visitors will be able to make Easter masks and turn themselves into an excellent egg, cheeky chick or brilliant bunny, or paint a spaced themed picture on canvas to make an ‘out of this world’ masterpiece. They can also make a stunning solar system mobile, paint a glass tealight holder or sun-catcher and create an alien in a jar!
There’s an Easter hunt taking place every day which will keep visitors busy whilst they explore the Museum – hunt for Easter pictures to win a sweetie treat! With loads of hands-on activities and interactive exhibits in the Museum itself there’s plenty to keep everyone entertained. What’s more it’s absolutely FREE to get in.
Julia Gandy, Lifelong Learner Officer at the Museum said:
“We’re very eggscited about Easter at the Museum and can’t wait to see some cheeky chicks and brilliant bunnies taking part in our cracking craft activities over the holidays.”
There is a different craft activity each day of the week with further details on the Museum website at www.transport-museum.com. A small charge will apply for the craft activities and quiz – there’s no need to book and adults can join in too.
Don’t forget that there’s also a myriad of Doctor Who monsters to be discovered as the Museum plays host to the Doctor Who exhibition. Get up close to actual props, costumes and monsters from the hit BBC programme and come face to face with some of the Doctor’s mightiest foes.
