Fashion show driving up your street!
Cunning are staging a series of guerrilla fashion shows across the UK to showcase Nissan’s ongoing support of Breakthrough Breast Cancer and the charity’s flagship campaign Fashion Targets Breast Cancer . Nissan will be showcasing the new Nissan Micra C+C, whilst raising money and awareness for the charity.
Cunning is taking the car on a whistle stop tour of the UK. Zooming into major cities across the country, the Micra C+C will be the platform for a series of unique guerrilla fashion shows. Targeting stylish bars where fashion savvy 25-35 year old women will be enjoying a summer drink, the roof will fold back, the gold carpet will roll out, the stereo will kick into action and the fashion show will begin!
Paparazzi photographers will treat the audience as models/celebrities and take pictures of them. Each week Nissan will pick five winning pictures. To find out if they have won, contenders will log onto www.nissan-micracc.co.uk where the winning pictures will be published.
The guerrilla shows are a build up to the PR centrepiece of the campaign – a series of fashion shows hosted by Jenny Frost and project managed by Cunning. The ex Atomic Kitten star has teamed up with Nissan and Breakthrough Breast Cancer to design a special one-off Micra C+C which will go on the tour.
The car, coloured gold to mark the charity’s ten year anniversary will be won by one lucky person. The shows will be staged in major shopping centres in London, Cardiff, Manchester, Newcastle, Birmingham and Glasgow.
Anna Carloss, MD of Cunning said “Guerrilla fashion shows are a fabulous example of Nissan’s commitment to the global ‘Shift’ strategy whilst simultaneously supporting a hugely important charity”. Cunning is Nissan’s retained experiential agency following a 9-way pitch last year.
