Lasan Eatery goes Dosa crazy as it launches the first Indian Pan

This year, the big thing in Indian Cuisine is Dosa – a popular Indian crispy pancake wrap. British diners have had a long standing love affair with Indian food and their palate has come a long way over the past 20 years. Now we want more than just Chicken Tikka Masala, samosas and kebabs. We want fast food... Indian style.

We don't mean Indian burgers but something more wholesome - dosas. And we want it right on our doorstep to eat any time, day or night. Quick and easy, hot and tasty, but waist friendly!

The Masala Dosa is a favourite South Indian dish. Prepared using special equipment from India, the dosa is a delicious large rice flour pancake which can be filled with a variety of foods. Traditionally it’s served with Sambhar, a South Indian lentil and vegetable curry and accompanied with coconut chutney.

LASAN EATERY brings the authentic taste of the South onto your plate, evoking memories of big family dinners back home. Diners will be welcomed into Lasan Eatery's open kitchen, where you will find the Dosa Walla, The Kebab Walla and Curry Walla – all primed and ready to cook and serve some of your favourite dishes right in front of you.

Owner Jabbar Khan reveals, “Here at the Lasan Eatery, we’ve brought together all the expertise of our top chefs, the fabulous tastes and authenticity of our award-winning city centre restaurant, and packaged them into an amazing eating experience that is convenient, delicious and will have you coming back time and time again.”

And for those of you who don’t want to leave the house, Lasan Eatery is also introducing a TXT-A-CURRY service. It’s quick and simple. Just choose your food from the menu, text the code next to it along with your membership number, and less than 45 minutes later it will arrive piping hot at your door.

Takeaway guilt is sweeping the nation. You know you want it - but you know you shouldn't!  Now with Lasan's healthier options you CAN have your curry and eat it!
