Drayton Manor Celebrates Grandparents’ Day
Grandparents will be given a special treat when they visit Drayton Manor Theme Park, near Tamworth, Staffordshire, on Grandparents’ Day.
On Sunday 6th September, the park will welcome grannies and granddads for a special day, where they will gain entry into the award-winning attraction for just £10 when accompanied with a full paying child, aged 4 to 11 (£21).
Drayton Manor Theme Park offers grandparents plenty of rides and attractions for them to enjoy with their grandchildren, such as the 4D Cinema and Thomas Land, which is full of excitement with its 12 themed rides.

Meanwhile, brave grandparents can also join their older grandchildren on the park’s thrill rides, such as G-Force, Maelstrom, Shockwave and Stormforce 10.
Of course, there are also plenty of opportunities to relax. In addition to the park’s cafés and restaurants, the gift shops enable them to take a break from all the excitement of the rides and buy a memento of their visit. Or, they can stroll around the zoo, which is home to hundreds of animal species from around the world, including monkeys, big cats, reptiles and birds of prey.

Colin Bryan, Managing Director, Drayton Manor Theme Park, comments: “Grandparents do a fantastic job for their families and we want to give them a treat to reward them on this special day.
“I hope lots of families will come and enjoy the day together. With so much to see and do here, there is something for every member of the family to enjoy, whether it be the thrilling rides or a relaxing walk around the zoo.”
