Spooky Halloween fun this half-term at Drayton Manor Theme Park

Drayton Manor Theme Park, near Tamworth, Staffordshire, will treat children, parents and grandparents to a week of spooky fun as part of its special programme of events during the upcoming half-term holiday (Monday 27th to Friday 31st October).

Throughout the week, many of the park’s rides and attractions, including Thomas Land™, will be open until 7pm. In addition, there will be grinning ghosts and ghouls, including friendly ghost Jasper, floating around the park. There will also be illuminated evening walks through Drayton Manor Zoo.

Visitors will have a frighteningly good time when they come and see the fiendish live stage show, Spooky Spectacular, which will take place between 5.00pm and 8.00pm from Saturday 25th October to Sunday 2nd November.

There’s also the opportunity for children (and adults) to have their faces painted, including having latex make-up applied in whatever scary style they wish. The Pavilion, opposite the Television Theatre, will be transformed into a dungeon where they can then have their photos taken.

In addition, Drayton Manor Theme Park is proud to announce a special appearance by one of the UK’s top psychic mediums, Gary Dakin.

Mr Dakin, who has performed live readings throughout the UK and in the US, will be on stage in the park’s Big Top Theatre on Wednesday 29th October for a clairvoyant evening. The Psychic Night will begin from 7.30pm and consist of two 45-minute sessions with a half-hour interval.

Fireworks Extravaganza
But that’s not all. The half-term week will come to a close in spectacular fashion with the park’s end of season firework displays on Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd November. The displays will be accompanied by music and will set the night sky alight. The displays start at 7.00pm with last admissions at 6.00pm and many park rides will be open till 9.00pm.
