Birmingham is becoming widely regarded as the UK's creative capital and our dynamic businesses are stamping Birmingham's place on the European creative landscape. It is of the greatest importance that the companies that make this possible are acclaimed and rewarded for their progressive work and the economic impact they have made to the city, the region and the UK as a whole."

The deadline for nominations for this year's Creative City Awards will be 17 October 2008, and the winner will be announced at the prestigious dinner and ceremony on 29 November at the ICC. Companies are urged to submit their entries as soon as possible.
