Ticket Factory takes leading sponsorship opportunity at Artsfest 2008

As it approaches its first birthday, The Ticket Factory continues to win new business and expand into increasingly diverse areas, securing sponsorship for this year’s Birmingham Artsfest event.

Operated by The NEC Group, Birmingham, The Ticket Factory has in the last twelve months provided ticketing services for events including the London Red Bull Air Race, Elton John’s current Red Piano tour and the HSBC World Matchplay Golf competition.

Launched last year and developed through The NEC Group’s 30-years of experience and expertise, The Ticket Factory will be sponsoring the Artsfest Ticket Booth.  Located in Birmingham’s Central Library, the booth provides discounted tickets to a wide variety of performances and events.

Visitors to Artsfest can sample anything from Bhangra dancing and dub poetry, to classical music and ballet from the Birmingham Royal Ballet Company. The majority of the taster sessions run for around 30 minutes, giving the public the opportunity to see internationally acclaimed artists.

Peter Monks, Business Development Manager, The Ticket Factory, said:
“We are very pleased to have The Ticket Factory name and brand associated with an event like Artsfest. This sponsorship opportunity gives us a great outlet to connect with the public and Birmingham’s arts and cultural communities.”

“We will also have a stall in Centenary Square as part of the Arts & Culture Fair, so we’ll have the opportunity to get members of our team out and about meeting people face-to-face.”

In order to promote The Ticket Factory’s sponsorship, the logo will also appear on the twelve information boards located at key sites around Birmingham City Centre, as well as across Birmingham on a number of boards and posters.

Birmingham Artsfest will run from Saturday 13th to Sunday 14th September 2008.
