CHRISTMAS COMES EARLY FOR THE JAM HOUSE

Birmingham’s leading live music and dining venue the Jam House ‘wishes it could be Christmas every day’ after drumming up an advanced bookings record.

The St Paul’s Square venue has taken 3,150 festive meal reservations – more than 1,000 more than at the same stage last year when it went on to serve a record 5,000 Christmas meals.

General manager John Bunce celebrated the success over a Christmas pudding with rock legend Roy Wood, who created the famous yuletide hit and who will be launching the Jam House’s festive programme on Thursday, November 29 with his Rock ‘n’ Roll Band.

John said: “We are on course for our most successful Christmas ever with dozens of enquiries every day for both lunch and dinner through December, mainly from companies re-booking from previous years but also from people who have been recommended to us by friends who have loved the food, loved the bands and simply had a great night out at the Jam House.”

The Jam House’s three-course Christmas menu is available at just £44.50 per head in the evening and £24.75 at lunchtime. It features a choice of meat and vegetarian dishes prepared with flair and imagination, with diners also able to enjoy live musical entertainment.

* PhillySound superstars The Stylistics will be returning to the Jam House by popular demand on Wednesday, November 14. Tickets, priced at £20, are available by clicking on www.thejamhouse.com
