Shopping First for Birmingham's Bullring
Birmingham shoppers will be the first in the UK to have the opportunity to experience a new fashion offering from Danish retailer Bestseller, following the company’s decision to open its first UK store in the city’s multi-award winning centre, Bullring.
The flagship store will occupy a 1,700 m² prime retail unit facing onto Rotunda Square and Central Street, a central part of Birmingham’s rejuvenated city centre. Operating under 14 brand names including Vero Moda and Jack & Jones, Bestseller will offer customers a diverse choice in women’s, men’s and children’s wear and accessories.
Tim Walley, general manager at Bullring, commented: “Having recently marked our third birthday with 111 million visitors though the doors since opening, Bullring is the obvious choice for retailers wanting to be at the centre of everything.
“Bestseller will add yet another option to Bullring’s great choice of stylish retailers and underlines its position as a fashionable UK shopping destination. We are confident that Bestseller will trade very successfully in this prime unit at Bullring.”
Bestseller operates more than 2,400 stores in 30 countries across Europe, the Middle East, China and Canada. It entered the UK market in 2000 by supplying wholesale product to multi-branded fashion retailers and independent stores. Following the success of the wholesale launch, the company is now looking at rolling out stores across the UK, with Bullring as its first location. The Bestseller store is expected to start trading at Bullring within the next few months.
