New Menu for New Term at College Restaurants
The College's restaurants are all set to welcome discerning Birmingham diners again with a brand-new menu for the new term.
As ever, catering students at the college will be putting their talents to good use by cooking up dishes for The Atrium, The Brasserie and the Cap and Gown - all of which are open to the public, offering good-quality food at extremely competitive prices from Monday, October 2.
The Atrium is the college's fine dining establishment, where two courses cost £18.50. A three-course menu at our mid-range Brasserie costs £9.75, while the Cap and Gown focuses on pub-style fayre, with main courses starting at just £3.90.
The Brasserie and Cap and Gown also offer express dishes at lunchtime for diners in a hurry, where booking is not needed. (Please call us for opening times).
Food and beverage co-ordinator Rob Smith said: "For each of our restaurants we have researched different sections of the industry to see what's on sale elsewhere and we've come up with a range of dishes that are exciting, inventive and reflect the industry today.
"Having these facilities gives students experience in preparing dishes for paying customers, so when they finish their courses and go into the industry they will not have any fear of doing that.
"In return, our customers get the highest-quality food at the most reasonable prices imaginable. The restaurants have all been recently refurbished to a very high standard, and anyone eating here wouldn't know they were in a college restaurant."
