Discover Thomas & Friends™ at Drayton Manor this Bank Holiday
Mums, dads, grandparents and kids looking for a fun-filled bank holiday weekend should head over to Drayton Manor Theme Park, near Tamworth, Staffordshire, where they can see a unique Thomas & Friends exhibition, as well as enjoying the other spectacular rides and attractions.
Thomas fans of all ages will enjoy the new Discover Thomas & Friends Exhibition, located inside Farmer McColl’s Barn at the theme park’s popular Thomas Land™ attraction.

Visitors can watch as Thomas and his friends go full steam ahead around the original sets from the highly acclaimed Thomas & Friends TV series. The whole set has been painstakingly recreated to scale for enthusiasts to enjoy, featuring the familiar sights from the Island of Sodor and many of its most famous engines including Rosie, Edward, Terence, Trevor and Bulgy.
For the young and young at heart, Thomas Land is full of excitement, featuring 12 rides based on popular Thomas & Friends™ characters, as well as indoor and outdoor play areas, a restaurant and a shop.
For the brave, the park boasts some of the biggest, wettest and scariest rides around, including G-Force, Maelstrom, Shockwave and Stormforce 10. Meanwhile, families will enjoy the sensational 4D Cinema where they can watch a film in 3D, whilst seated in chairs that react to scenes in the film by moving up and down, releasing bursts of air, bubbles and various smells.

There’s also plenty of opportunities to relax as the park’s cafés, restaurants, picnic areas and shops offer a less adrenaline-filled atmosphere. Meanwhile the Drayton Manor Zoo is home to hundreds of animal species from around the world, including monkeys, big cats, reptiles and birds of prey.
Colin Bryan, Managing Director, Drayton Manor Theme Park, comments: “This Bank Holiday weekend is a great opportunity for families to enjoy a day out together before the kids go back to school.
“There is something for everyone to enjoy here and the addition of the exhibition as another attraction included in the ticket price means families can be sure they are getting value for money.”
