Digital Birmingham Open House at New Aston Science Park Home

Digital Birmingham celebrated its recent move to Aston Science Park with an Open House at its new Faraday House premises.

The organisation, which champions the benefits of digital technologies for all in the city of Birmingham, welcomed business partners and old friends along to the event, where they were addressed by Birmingham City Council deputy leader Paul Tilsley, who heads up the Digital Birmingham partnership.

Cllr Tilsley outlined planned developments as Digital Birmingham drives forward its cross-city and European agendas around home access, digital districts, social media and the digital economy leading up to key events in the Autumn of 2010.

Aston Science Park's Managing Director Dr David Hardman also welcomed the guests and discussed his plans to position the location as one of Europe's leading science parks and a destination site for technology and innovative companies.
