Winefest returns to Birmingham City Centre
Birmingham City Centre will welcome back the popular German Winefest for the fourth year running in Victoria Square, 16th – 27th August 2007 (11am-10pm daily).
Come and experience a variety of delicious red, white and sparkling wines from Germany’s 13 wine growing regions and purchase your favourite by the glass, bottle or case.
Sponsored by Masshouse, this al fresco event will also feature German food stalls serving up barbecued German sausages including Bratwurst, Brockwurst and Rindwurst, cooked over charcoal and served with traditional accompaniments including sauerkraut and mustard.
The food and wine will be complimented by a varied programme of live music throughout the day.
Wine buffs will also be able to increase their knowledge of German wines with information available on producer profiles, history of wine growing in the regions, the winemaking process, wine stems and grape varieties.
