Barry Callebaut supports The Chocolate Show
Barry Callebaut, the world’s leading manufacturer of high-quality cocoa, chocolate and confectionery products has confirmed its commitment to The Chocolate Show 2008. The Chocolate Show is due to launch at Birmingham’s NEC from 22nd – 24th February 2008. The Chocolate Show will offer 2000 sqm devoted entirely to everything chocolate: a haven for chocolate lovers and a focal point for all that is chocolate. Each year, the UK population spend £4.5 billion on chocolate, making us the biggest consumers of chocolate in the European Union. With 94% of the population consuming chocolate, The Chocolate Show will be the perfect occasion for chocolate fans to get together with big chocolate brands, gourmet chocolatiers and boutique chocolate shops all under one roof. Barry Callebaut’s Ambassadors’ Club will provide leading industry figures to speak on the Live Stage Area. The Ambassadors’ Club unites more than seventy chefs, pastry chefs and confectioners of international reputation. The speakers will be transferring their chocolate know-how and techniques to The Chocolate Show visitors, giving an insight into new products, product concepts, packaging, recipes and other chocolate related topics.
