Unity in the Community

Unity in the Community is a series of concerts on 29th/30th September 2006, at Birmingham Aston Villa Event Centre (3000) by Artists Academy UK. The theme of these events is to bring together communities and peoples from different ethnic and religious backgrounds together.

Artists Academy UK, with a commanding team of experts in the field of music, marketing and community relations, is at the cutting edge of entertainment providing live shows of well known artists and up-and-coming talent. GDJD productions will provide the technical and live show support.

This winning formula has come together with multi awarding winning black female artist Ms Dynamite to create “Respect in the Community”.

Ms Dynamite recently a performing artist at Live8 is sharp, talented, original, charming and streetwise - a young black woman with something to say and with the music to back it up.

Ms Dynamite will be supported by up and coming artist Akala and Soundbwoy and Asian UK urban artists, Punjabi Hit Squad, Alissiya, Ms Scandalous and UK Chart topper Raghav.

Birmingham was recently the scene of' race riots - not between white extremist and ethnic minorities - but, between Black and Asian groups.

In Nottingham gun crime is more of an issue than racial tension and the purpose of the two concerts is to bring together people of all races and communities to use music to heal the damage caused by race riots and violence.

There is a marketing opportunity for you at these events. The benefits to anyone working with Artists Academy UK on this unique project include media exposure, direct contact with the audience, display stalls and leaflet distribution.
