2006 Birmingham Tattoo
Almost 2000 performers will line up at The NIA in November for a spectacular event that will commemorate the 80th birthday of Her Majesty The Queen.
This year’s Birmingham Tattoo on Saturday 18 & Sunday 19 November will feature massed marching bands, spectacular displays, a massed chorus and much more. Leading the line-up will be the Band of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines, the Band of the Brigade of Gurkhas and America’s Musical Ambassadors, the Band of the United States Army. There’s also the dog display team, and the parade of massed standards to name just a few of the spectacular highlights!
From the haunting sound of the Lone Piper to the splendour of the Grand Finale, the Birmingham Tattoo is a spectacular event for all the family. Now in its 18th year the Birmingham Tattoo is the largest indoor event of its kind in the UK and attracts around 20,000 spectators from all over the world.
