Get your game on with the Pallasades
Are you renowned among your family and friends for being a fantastic computer gamer? Or do you think you’d have a natural talent for it? If so then check out your skills at The Pallasades this summer as the shopping centre is on the hunt to find Birmingham’s best gamer.
The competition is being held between the 2nd and 6th August as part of the centre’s ‘Pallasades People’ campaign. With two Xboxs on hand at the ‘Gaming Station’ entrants are being invited to go head to head with the exciting ‘Forza Motorsport’ driving game, to hopefully achieve the best daily and overall scores.
Jonathan Cheetham, general manager for The Pallasades, explains the competition: “We have a number of stores at The Pallasades which are ideal for gamers and gadget lovers, which is why we wanted to find Birmingham’s best gamer. There will be daily prizes from HMV for our top scorers and Celebration cookies courtesy of Millie’s Cookies for our runner ups and an overall prize of an Xbox 360 from the Game store for our overall gaming winner.”

The hunt for Brum’s best gamer, which is being run in conjunction with Game, HMV and Millie’s Cookies at The Pallasades launches at 11am on Monday 2nd August until 4pm on Friday 6th August.
Daily prizes include Xbox 360 games Halo 3, Ashes Cricket 2009 and Forza Motorsport as well as a number of HMV £20 gift cards.
The Gaming Station is situated on the North Walk, near Poundland and is open from 11am until 5pm Monday 2nd August to Thursday 5th and from 10am until 4pm on Friday 6th August. The overall winner will be announced with a photo opportunity on the 9th August. Any children aged under 16 years old entering must have parental permission for their name and photo to appear in the press.
