JAZZ Returns to The Bartons Arms

With less than a week to go to the start of the 26th Birmingham International Jazz and Blues Festival it is with great delight that we announce the acts that will be appearing at the Bartons Arms, Birmingham’s finest Victorian public house.

The first of two international acts will take to the stage this coming Friday 16th July at 8pm, and it is our absolute pleasure to announce that Chick “the Stoop Down Man” Willis will be appearing all the way from Macon Georgia.

Chick is a first rate guitarist and vocalist who plays drums, keyboard, harmonica and bass.   He goes to great lengths to electrify his audience and has dynamic stage presence.
The venue is extremely proud to be associated with the 26th Birmingham International Jazz Festival and is lucky enough to have secured another sensational act for the final day of the Festival, Sunday 25th July, mark the date in your diary now as one not to be missed as the Bartons will welcome Sean Harvey & B57.  Sean and his band will bring the venue alive at 3pm with their repertoire from the 50’s 60’s and 70’s.  Enjoy an enthralling mix of original material and covers, various styles from Americana to classic rock, country and blues all the makings of a perfect Sunday.
