New Education Programme for School Children
Drayton Manor Theme Park is now offering a wide range of educational services following the appointment of a new education officer.
Kiri Charlton will deliver tailor-made education packages to pupils ranging in age from nursery to secondary school.
All the programmes are being delivered in conjunction with the national curriculum, which means they will directly relate to what children are learning in the classroom.
The education packages for nursery and primary school children will focus on the zoo, Thomas Land and other rides in the park. Meanwhile, secondary pupils will additionally benefit from topics covering business, leisure & tourism, customer services, as well as marketing.
Kiri commented: “We’ve already had some bookings and seen considerable interest from schools about this programme. We’re also currently producing educational packs for schools, which can be used in the classroom to enhance the students’ learning experience.”
