Blues are business class
Blues’ corporate hospitality guests are in for a super ‘suite’ experience fit for the Premier League when they visit St. Andrew’s during the 2009/10 season.
Work is well underway to transform the executive areas at the stadium with the emphasis majoring on a classy look that also highlights the club’s rich tapestry.
Nowhere will that be more apparent than in the Kop reception where a ‘history timeline’ will showcase key moments and dates from the club’s 134-year history.
The executive makeover, which will ensure that watching Premier League football from the St. Andrew’s boxes and suites will be more comfortable than ever before, will include the following improvements…
• Boardroom Club, Wiseman Suite and Captains Club: Newly refurbished facilities with
re-positioned bar areas, new décor and flooring and brand new furniture
• Gil Merrick Stand boxes and Gold Suite: Full redecoration, brand new plasma TVs and,
in the Gold Suite, new modernised artwork features
• Kop boxes: New décor and flooring, brand new furniture to include re-upholstered leather
seating and a historic, timeline wall display in each box
Blues’ managing director Karren Brady is sure guests will be impressed with the work being done to turn St. Andrew’s into the perfect place not just for families, but for entertaining clients too.
Karren says: “We are about to compete in the best league in the world once again and work is well underway here at St. Andrew’s to make sure our corporate hospitality facilities are up there with the very best too.
“The stadium has always been a great place for people to bring their family and friends, or entertain clients and customers, and the massive improvements to our executive areas, as well as throughout the rest of the stadium, further enhance our credentials as a venue fit for the Premier League.”
