Aston PhD student launches new exhibition

A postgraduate student at Aston Business School, Birmingham, has launched a one-man photography exhibition in one of the city’s iconic buildings.

Graham Stubbs is showcasing his work in a summer-long exhibition at St Martins Church in the Bullring, in the shadow of the Selfridges’s building.

The Bullring in Black and White features Graham’s views of one of the busiest shopping and leisure developments in Europe and will be at the Arts Café in St Martins until early September. He is hoping to encourage businesses based in and around the Bullring to get involved in the current exhibition.

“This is a great chance to raise funds for St Martins,” he says. “But it is also an opportunity for loc al companies to get involved in the arts as well.”

The 32 year-old is at the mid-point of a PhD looking at the energy industry and how it is responding to climate change from an environmental and business point of view. He is already an accomplished and award-winning photographer with several other exhibitions to his name.
