Birmingham Focus on Blindness Scoop Two Awards
Local Charity, Birmingham Focus on Blindness has this week scooped not one, but two national awards at the National Conference for the Association of Local Societies for Visually Impaired People (NALSVI).
The prestigious awards were given to Focus for their Newsletter and their Annual Review.
Marketing Manager of Focus, Alec Longhurst commented: "As a small local charity we are absolutely chuffed and delighted to have won first place in two separate categories for our work, especially as this was such a prestigious national event.
“As a name, Birmingham Focus on Blindness has only been around since 1997, so it is essential that we build awareness of our brand and the important services we offer to the local community. The presentation of our literature and the images we use are of paramount important to us in achieving this objective.”
