Selfridges Birmingham celebrates South Africa 2010
In celebration of South Africa 2010, Selfridges Birmingham has planned a host of activities designed to kick-off the competition for football and fashion fans alike.
Thursday 10 - Friday 11 June
The launch the tournament in style, the entire store will welcome supporters for a weekend of celebrations, with live DJ sets, fantastic prize giveaways and table football tournaments. What's more, special screening areas will be positioned in both The Gallery Restaurant and Level 3 Menswear, for shoppers to relax and watch the action live on our deluxe flat-screens.
Saturday 12 - Sunday 13 June
We know that it's not just the boys who love football - which is why this weekend, it's all about the ladies. Level 4 Womenswear will fly the flag for glamour and style with fabulous complimentary treatments from nail and beauty brands, prize draws and, of course, a glass of bubbly for shoppers. In our very own take on the "dressing room atmosphere," an extra-special Personal Shopping suite will allow ladies to benefit from our team's fashion expertise as you make those all-important wardrobe updates.
Wednesday 16 –Thursday 17 and Monday 21 – Tuesday 22 June
Providing the ultimate escape for girls whose other halves can’t tear themselves away from The Beautiful Game, the store’s Cosmetics hall will become a haven in our exclusive Girls’ Night In.
