Heart of England Excellence in Tourism Awards
The 2009 Heart of England Excellence in Tourism Awards are now open for entries. A celebration of the very best in tourism, showcase the diverse and fantastic range of attractions, accommodations and tourism venues that the West Midlands has to offer.
With 21 categories, every individual or business involved in tourism in Birmingham, and the West Midlands should put themselves forward for an award. Previous award winners have seen a higher public profile lead to a direct increase in bookings and visitors, so there are real business benefits to entering. This year see the largest number free to enter categories yet and with all the awards free to enter, with a simple straightforward application procedure, now is the time to get involved.
This year’s awards will culminate in a glittering awards ceremony on October 29, when all our finalists will be able to celebrate their achievements and find out who will pick up the awards.
All category winners (excluding My Best Day Out; Outstanding Contribution to Tourism Awards for an Individual and Organisation and Regional Culture Award- which are regional awards only) will go forward to the shortlisting stage of the National EnjoyEngland Excellence in Tourism Awards 2010, which offers a fantastic opportunity for national reputation development.
