Special Costume Screening of STAR TREK: The IMAX Experience
On Saturday 13 June STAR TREK fans are invited to dust off their U.S.S. Enterprise costumes (or any other sci-fi gear) and beam down Millennium Point for a special costumed screening event. To celebrate the final weekend of the highly successful STAR TREK: The IMAX Experience for the 8.00pm screening only, visitors in STAR TREK costume can pay the reduced rate of £7.15, saving 20% on general admission.
To date over 13,000 people have visited IMAX Cinema at Millennium Point to experience the greatest space adventure of all time brought to life on the giant IMAX screen and have travelled from as far a field as Devon, Bournemouth and Dundee! STAR TREK: The IMAX Experience has been digitally re-mastered for the giant IMAX screen through IMAX DMR (Digital Re-mastering) technology.
STAR TREK tells the incredible story of a young crew's maiden voyage onboard the most advanced starship ever created: the U.S.S. Enterprise. On a journey filled with action, comedy and cosmic peril the new recruits must find a way to stop an evil being whose mission of vengeance threatens all of mankind.
