FROM TORCHWOOD TO SHERWOOD A PANTOMIME OF TITANIC PROPORTIONS!
Following his record breaking season in last year’s pantomime, multi-talented stage and television star JOHN BARROWMAN makes a triumphant return to Birmingham Hippodrome this year in the Christmas spectacular ROBIN HOOD – THE PANTOMIME ADVENTURE.
ROBIN HOOD - THE PANTOMIME ADVENTURE is a brand new production especially written for Birmingham Hippodrome and opens Friday 19 December 2008 – Sunday 1 February 2009.
Appearing alongside John is the hilarious comedian PAUL ZERDIN, as Will Scarlet together with his friend ‘Sam’, and returning to Birmingham is the multi-talented DON MACLEAN in the role of Friar Tuck.
Making a special appearance is the breathtaking TITAN, a massive 8 foot tempered steel giant of a Robot that is conjured back from the future to aide the Sheriff of Nottingham’s quest to defeat Robin Hood (John Barrowman).
JOHN BARROWMAN said “I am thrilled to be returning to Birmingham Hippodrome this Christmas in a production full of surprises and packed with entertainment for all ages. I am particularly looking forward to taking on TITAN, with my experience of battling futuristic baddies I don’t think it’ll prove too much of a problem!”.
