Wild & Wacky Father’s Day Antics at The Pallasades ‘Star Pa’ Contest
Four daring dads have been invited to come down to The Pallasades Shopping Centre on Saturday 9th June to battle it out for a chance of winning the coveted title of Birmingham’s ‘Star Pa’ as well as a whole host of spectacular prizes.
The much-anticipated competition kicks off at 12.30 with Homework Challenge, where dads will have to be quick on the buzzer if they hope to be top of the class. The Pallasades’ very own strict Head Mistress will be posing questions straight from the classroom. Let’s hope the audience of mums and children don’t get the answers first!
DIY Challenge is next on the list of tricky trials where handy dads have a chance to show off their practical side. They will have a limited amount of time to wire a plug, assemble flat pack furniture and prove their painting prowess.
There’s no slowing down for the dads as they get in gear for The Pallasades’ Taxi Challenge, giving them the chance to show off their navigation skills. Armed with a map of the city, a Polaroid camera and a list of destinations, the mission is to find the places on the map and take a photo of themselves at the location – to prove their map-reading prowess!
Last but not least is Style Challenge. Experienced stylist, Lindsey Gibson will be assisting the dads to create an outfit based around various themes including urban streetwear and 007. Professional models will be showing the dad contestants how to strut their stuff on the catwalk before it’s over to the dads to parade their creations in the limelight! The judges will then give their final scores based on style and showmanship!
