It’s all about eating alfresco this summer at City Café Birmingham
This summer, diners can make the most of the great British outdoors in the very heart of the city as City Café, City Inn’s destination restaurant, celebrates sunny days by opening up its terrace.
Ideal for those who want to savour the best seasonal produce in the sunshine while watching the hustle and bustle pass by and overlooking Brindley Place, the AA rosette award-winning City Café is located in the centre of Birmingham, within walking distance to all its shopping and cultural attractions, including the International Conference Centre (ICC), the National Indoor Arena (NIA), and the Symphony Hall.
Visitors can sit outside and sample the terrace menu which offers the same great value dishes, without compromising on quality, as the à la carte or market menus available in the restaurant, made from some of the very best locally sourced ingredients as chosen by head chef Neil Peers. Guests can enjoy a variety of lighter dishes such as cray fish bisque or the super food salad; pick something to share with the mezze plate or go for something more substantial and hot off the grill, such as a terrace mixed grill which includes rib-eye steak, pork sausage, chicken breast, cured bacon and kidneys, portobello mushroom and cherry tomatoes on the vine, before finishing off with British strawberries or a show stopping traditional knickerbockerglory.
City Inn Birmingham welcomes all generations with complete access for buggies and wheelchairs making it ideal for anyone wanting to enjoy time with family and friends this summer in comfortable and elegant surroundings.
