Premier Warwickshire conference venue scoops silver in national award

The Heritage Motor Centre was awarded Silver in the Meet England Business Tourism category at the Enjoy England Awards for Excellence, held at St. George's Hall in Liverpool on 23 April 2008.  

The purpose built conference centre, situated in Warwickshire, won Gold in the regional heat last October and proudly represented the Heart of England in the national final.

Brian Summers, Chairman of Tourism West Midlands, the strategic lead organisation for tourism in The Heart of England region, said, “We are thrilled for The Heritage Motor Centre in Gaydon winning the prestigious Silver Award in the National Enjoy England Excellence Awards this year.

“Business tourism is crucial to this region contributing over £6 billion to the regional economy, and The Heritage Motor Centre has been recognised by Visit Britain, organisers of the national Awards, as being at the heart of this key industry. My heartiest congratulations go to Gaydon for an excellent win.”
