RYANAIR LAUNCHES NEW ROUTE FROM BIRMINGHAM TO MARSEILLE!

Birmingham International Airport today celebrated the launch of Ryanair’s new service from Birmingham to Marseille, which will operate three days a week. This fantastic new Ryanair route will deliver an additional 40000 passengers through the airport in its first year.
The first lucky passengers to check-in for Marseille, Marcus and Lizzie Higginson from Leamington Spa, were presented with a pair of free fare flights and a bottle of champagne!
This new service is just another one of twenty amazing new destinations served by Ryanair from its 25th Base at Birmingham International Airport, amounting to a total of twenty-two routes all together. Birmingham now has an amazing range of routes to destinations all across Europe including Oslo, Stockholm, Gdansk, Bydgoszcz, Rzeszow, Dinard, Porto and Trapani (Sicily) which will all be in operation by the month of July!

“Marseille is just the start of 20 routes that Ryanair has already announced from Birmingham this year, with even more to come for the winter. We have already seen the start of their Gerona and Pisa routes. Marseille is an exceptional destination offering a wonderful experience for visitors. The majority of Ryanair’s new routes will start in June and with destinations like Oslo, Trieste, Gdansk, Biarritz it will be a busy summer here at the Airport.
