The Biggest World Cup Celebration Outside of Germany

Top artists including Ocean Colour Scene, Duncan James, Matt Willis, Rooster and Tony Christie are joining forces with the T-Mobile Fan Park to bring football fans closer to the World Cup than ever before with the UK’s largest World Cup celebration outside of Germany.

Open from 9 June to 9 July, the T-Mobile Fan Park in Birmingham’s city centre will show World Cup matches daily on Europe’s largest screen and bring football fans five hours of live entertainment before each crucial England game. Acts lined up by 96.4 BRMB to perform before the first three England games include Ex-Busted Matt Willis, Duncan James from Blue, Rooster and Tony Christie who’ll rally the crowds behind Sven and the team with his World Cup version of his No.1 hit ‘Amarillo’!

Nick Atkinson from Rooster who will be performing before the England v Sweden match is looking forward to being part of the World Cup celebrations, "I think we've got the best chance of winning the World Cup since 1966 - with or without Rooney – so it’s great to be joining everyone at the T-Mobile Fan Park. Come On England!"

The T-Mobile Fan Park will also give Birmingham its first ever beach, at the FC T-Mobile Beach Soccer Stadium. With plans underway to bring a selection of the world's greatest football talent together for a European Pro Beach Soccer Tournament, the beach will also give football lovers the chance to try a more tropical version of the beautiful game.

The T-Mobile Fan Park is open from 9 June to 9 July at Millennium Point in Birmingham. Advanced T-Mobile Fan Park tickets for England match days go on sale Friday 19th May and cost £3.50 for adults, £2.50 for concessions and £10 for families (2 adults and 3 children).
