Things are hotting up at Cadbury World this April

Cadbury World is turning up the heat this month by challenging visitors to taste its new chocolate chilli drink as part of a special Aztec themed weekend.

The weekend, which takes place on the 24th and 25th April offers visitors the chance take part in a host of Aztec themed activities and talks. Upon entering the Aztec Jungle zone they will also get the opportunity to meet Montezuma, Emperor of the Aztecs.

Aztec Weekend is part of a series of special activities that Cadbury World is hosting throughout the year including a performance by Britain’s Got Talent’s popular martial arts duo Strike, and Pirate fun and games during Pirate Weekend at the beginning of May.

Lucy Giaquinto, Marketing Manager at Cadbury World said

“The Aztec weekend gives adults and children a deeper insight into the Aztecs and how they used chocolate. The Aztec Emperor Montezuma used to drink a chilli chocolate mixture from a golden goblet and we’ve recreated the recipe for everyone to try- although it’s not for the faint hearted!”

Cadbury World opened its doors in 1990 and now receives over 570,000 visitors each year including 30,000 school pupils. Whether you’re looking for fun, heritage or just something different you are sure to find it at Cadbury World. From learning how your favourite confectionery is made to playing in chocolate rain and coming face to face with Cadbury’s infamous drumming gorilla, the fourteen different zones at Cadbury World offer something for everyone.
