Birmingham International Airport has today announced that Peter Vella, Business Development Director, has decided to leave the company to pursue new business opportunities.
Peter joined the company in his current role in 1997 and has been an invaluable member of the executive team throughout this time, with direct responsibility for developing the Airport’s aeronautical and commercial activities.
Commenting on his decision Peter said: “I have thoroughly enjoyed working for the Airport Company over the past 12 years. It is an excellent company with a first class reputation both locally and across the industry. I will miss working with a very talented team of colleagues. However, the time has come to move on and pursue new opportunities and challenges.”
Paul Kehoe, CEO for the Airport commented: “I have only worked with Peter for five months but during that time he has given me great support as I have settled in to the business. I respect his decision to move on after a successful 12 year stint as Business Development Director.”
Today will be Peter’s last day in the office.
