Wing Your Way To Waterford

Aer Arann, one of the fastest growing regional airlines in Europe, is counting down the weeks until the launch of its new service from Birmingham International Airport to Waterford in the South East of Ireland, effective from 14 May 2007.

The new service will operate daily, except on Saturdays, and with a flight time of one hour and twenty minutes, should prove popular with those planning trips away. Fares will start from £35 one way including tax.

Colin Lewis, Head of Sales and Marketing, Aer Arann adds: “We are delighted to be further expanding our UK network with a new service from Birmingham to Waterford. Gateway to the South East and the home of Waterford Crystal, this vibrant city has plenty to offer visitors from the UK.  We believe it will prove to be a popular short breaks destination from the midlands and look forward to working with the team at Birmingham International Airport to develop the service.”

John Morris, Head of Corporate Affairs at Birmingham International Airport, said: "Ireland is a popular destination with our passengers, so we are pleased to add Waterford to our expanding route network. The short travel time and frequency of service make it ideal for an overnight stay or a mid-week break."
