Jacob Kimmie to tour with L'Oreal Professionnel Colour Trophy Regional Tour

Birmingham based designer Jacob Kimmie will join forces with L’Oréal Professionnel for the Colour Trophy regional tour. Jacob Kimmie will be providing male and female garments as part of the tour. The seven venue tour runs from the 23rd March to 7th April that brings together a stunning catwalk show and a live hair dressing competition.
 
The L’Oréal Professionnel Colour Trophy will allow different regions of the UK to see Jacob Kimmie’s garments as well as see the link between hair and fashion. The L’Oréal Colour Trophy tour is the only hair dressing event to bring fashion designers collections from London Fashion week to the public who live in all regions of the UK.
 
Lisa Shepard, Richard Ward, Errol Douglas, Jason Miller and Carolyn Newman are the highly acclaimed industry greats who will be judging the 2009 competition.
Jacob Kimmie will show his fifth collection at this month’s London Fashion week. Jacob
Kimmie as always, believes that hair is an important part of the catwalk show as it completes the look. He has worked with L’Oréal Professionnel for all of his past shows.

“I’ve been showing during London Fashion Week for the past five seasons and the team at L’Oréal Professionnel have supported me from the beginning with their exceptional hair craft and wonderful ideas. So when I was approached to collaborate on the L’Oréal Professionnel Colour Trophy, I jumped at the chance to work with them. Together we will develop a catwalk show that will inspire hairdressers to think about a new modern glamour. ”
