Comic Relief BBC Midlands Team Breaks World Record
Over 500 budding dancers strutted their stuff in Birmingham on Friday 16th March to break the record for the world’s largest dance class.
The record for the world's largest dance class previously stood at 250 and was set in Ohio, USA in 2006.
580 people from the Midlands smashed this record by performing a line dance in Centenary Square. The dance was choreographed by Martin Cutler from Dance Warehouse and performed to 'The Comic Relief Line Dancing Song'. Dancers included BBC Midlands Today’s Nick Owen.
