Jameson Cult Film Club comes to Birmingham
Love cult film? Then you’ll love Jameson Irish Whiskey’s Cult Film Club coming to Birmingham this December for a one-off screening of the cult classic, Blade Runner.
This is part of Jameson’s adventure with film, which brings you a series of monthly screenings in luxurious independent cinemas across the country. The Jameson Cult Film Club, which launched in London last month with a screening of the Oliver Stone classic, Wall Street, is now gracing the fashionable Electric Cinema on Wednesday 10th December.
A desolate vision of the future, Blade Runner, stars Harrison Ford, Sean Young and Daryl Hannah and follows Los Angeles ‘Blade Runner’ cop, Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford) on a mission to hunt down and terminate humanoids who have escaped from an off-world colony and now threaten earth.
Think of this as an early Christmas present…as these exclusive screenings are totally free. Designed to be more than just a screening, guests will enjoy a ‘money-can’t-buy’ expert’s introduction to the film, two complimentary Jameson drinks and the chance to win a bottle of triple distilled, Jameson Irish Whiskey with a post-screening quiz.
After Birmingham, Jameson is bringing its Cult Film Club to four other major cities across the UK; screenings will follow in Newcastle, Liverpool, Manchester and Edinburgh. They are even offering film fans the chance to vote for the films they most want to see on their dedicated website www.jamesoncultfilmclub.com. So whether it’s a passion for Pulp Fiction, a love of Life of Brian or tenderness for Top Gun – every taste is catered for.
