Peter Pan opens at Drayton Manor Theme Park

Peter Pan, the ever-popular storybook character, has swooped into Drayton Manor Theme Park, near Tamworth, Staffordshire, and begun entertaining the young and young at heart.

The boy who never grows up is currently starring in Drayton Manor’s Christmas pantomime, called Peter Pan, a spellbinding adaptation of J.M Barrie's timeless classic.

The production is being staged in Drayton Manor’s Big Top Theatre, a heated show tent located in the grounds of the park. Since the opening performance on Wednesday 12th December, hundreds of people have already been entertained and thrilled by the show.

The star studded cast includes Vicky Longley, from Genie in the House, the popular children’s show on Nickelodeon, as Wendy, and Ulric Browne, who plays market trader Winston in EastEnders, as Starkey.

Colin Bryan, Drayton Manor’s Managing Director, said: “The show has proved to be big hit with adults and children alike and I’m sure it will continue to entertain audiences over the coming weeks.”
