ITV Presenter Is New Heart Breakfast Co-Host

ITV Central News Presenter, Sarah-Jane Mee, will now co-host the Midlands’ biggest commercial Breakfast Show with Ed James. Sarah-Jane already wowed audiences in the summer after an extremely successful stint on Heart, and she’ll be back on-air with Ed from January 2007.

The vivacious 27 year old has been in TV for six years and is currently seen on ITV Central where she is the face of sport for the Midlands. As well as presenting on Central Tonight at 6pm every evening, Sarah-Jane also co-hosts Hancock’s Half-Time every Thursday at 11.30pm.

The striking TV star, who lives in Birmingham City Centre, has also fronted a number of regional programmes including Midlander of the Year, Britain on the Move and People's Millions. Sarah-Jane will continue to present on ITV as well as waking up the Midlands every weekday morning from 6am with Ed James.

Meanwhile, after five years on the Breakfast Show, co-host Hellon Wheels will continue to present on Heart at weekends, and will entertain audiences every Saturday lunchtime from 12noon to 3pm, with Ed, starting in January 2007.

On joining Heart Breakfast, Sarah-Jane said: “I had a brilliant time on the Breakfast Show and loved working with Ed, so can't wait to rejoin the Heart team at the start of next year. I had great fun and I'm looking forward to getting stuck into some early morning antics once again and bringing even more feelgood to Breakfast.”

Anita Wright, Heart Station Director, added: “Sarah-Jane is a significant signing for us. She’s very able and professional and also has a great sense of fun. Our listeners will love tuning into her every morning. She will give as good as she gets with Ed and their on-air chemistry will be a winning formula.”
