The International Convention Centre, Birmingham, is leading the way in providing online ordering facilities for customers and clients.
It’s a quick, easy and paperless way for exhibitors and guests to place orders and pay in advance using a credit or debit card.
Whether you would like red or white wine, or the plan is to celebrate with champagne, the online service allows guests attending banqueting functions at The ICC to order and pay for a full range of drinks in advance.
Its tried and tested success is paving the way for exhibitors to adopt exactly the same approach to ordering everything from plasma screens to catering for their stands. Exhibition-related products and services are expected to be available to book online in early 2007.
Catherine Caiger, head of business operations, The ICC, said: “As the UK’s leading convention centre, it is important we remain at the forefront of technology and product development. We are the only venue in the UK to offer such an extensive range online.”
