Shortlist Announced for Birmingham’s Style Awards 2009

Birmingham’s most stylish shops, bars and venues have been named in the shortlist for this year’s Style Awards 2009. Taking place at The Town Hall later this month, the awards will crown the places and people keeping the city at the height of the fashion game.

The star-studded event will see 16 awards given out, including Most Stylish High Street Retailer, Most Stylish Independent Store, Best Places to Eat and Drink, and Birmingham’s Most Stylish Celebrity and Sports Personality. The winners will be decided by the city’s shoppers and residents, who have until Friday 16 October to place their votes online at www.stylebirmingham.com.

The final award is for Birmingham's Retail Person of the Year, which will be voted for by an esteemed panel of judges. The award will celebrate a talented and dedicated individual working within the city’s retail sector.

Style Awards 2009 will take place at Birmingham’s prestigious Town Hall on 22 October and will see over 300 VIP’s attend the glitzy, red carpet event. The awards are being hosted by Retail Birmingham, with sponsorship from Advantage West Midlands and visitbirmingham.com.
