World-Renowned “Bodies” Exhibition Coming to Birmingham
Premier Exhibitions, Inc announced today, in conjunction with S2BN Entertainment, that tickets are now on sale for the world-renowned ‘Bodies Revealed’ exhibition, featuring real human body specimens. Bodies Revealed will be at the Custard Factory, Birmingham, opening on 30 October 2009.

The remarkable exhibition features real, whole and partial body specimens that have been meticulously dissected and preserved, giving visitors the opportunity to view the complexity of their own organs and systems like never before.
The exhibition takes visitors through galleries providing an up-close look inside the skeletal, muscular, reproductive, respiratory, circulatory and other systems of the human body. Many of the whole body specimens are dissected in vivid athletic poses, allowing the visitor to relate to everyday activities.
In addition, authentic human specimens illustrate the damage caused to organs by over-eating and lack of exercise, while a healthy lung is featured alongside one ravaged by smoking, to illustrate the effects of smoking.
The exhibition’s chief medical director, Dr Roy Glover says: “The educational impact of this exhibition is immeasurable. For centuries, the medical community has learned about the inner workings of the human body through the study of real human bodies, now it is possible for the public to gain an intimate knowledge as well.”
“The exhibition has strong educational and health messages that will inform, inspire and motivate the people of Birmingham and the West Midlands region”, says Miranda Williams, Cancer Research UK's representative in Birmingham, “We are delighted to be partnered with the exhibition and it will provide us with a great platform to deliver our messages.”
“This has also coincided with recent launch of the new Cancer Research UK 'Centre' in Birmingham and we are hoping that the exhibition will help raise awareness of Cancer Research UK's local research institute and it's impact in helping the charity achieve it's goal of 'Together We Will Beat Cancer’".
Already seen by millions of people worldwide, from South Korea to Sacramento, ‘Bodies Revealed’ makes its UK debut in Birmingham at The Custard Factory, Gibb Street – a short walk from the Bullring.
The exhibition runs from 30 October 2009 to 30 January 2010.
