Oriental Restaurant launches Hot Wok Friday
With December 25th just around the corner, Christmas shoppers will be in manic overdrive trying to get everything done. With so much ground to cover on our feet, there’s no time to stop for long lunches, and a sandwich will just not provide enough fuel to keep us shopaholics going.
So in the run up to Christmas, The Oriental Bar and Restaurant set alongside the canal of the prestigious Mailbox, will come to every shoppers’ rescue.
Every Friday between the 14th of November and the 5th of December, shoppers will be able to enjoy a choice of freshly prepared, hot tasty dishes from Malaysia, Thailand and China to takeaway in ‘The Oriental Hotbox’.
All dishes will be freshly prepared by the restaurant’s head chef and served from an authentic Oriental Tuk-Tuk from Salvage Walk (opposite Tesco Metro at The Mailbox). Priced at just £3.95, the dishes will be a delight to your taste buds :
NASI GORENG
Scrumptiously traditional Malaysian fried rice with fresh chicken breast and king prawns.
BLACK BEAN SAUCE - CHICKEN OR BEEF
A Chinese black bean sauce with sweet pepper, onion and spring onion.
PAD THAI – CHICKEN, BEEF OR VEG
Stir fried thin noodles Thai style with bean sprouts and bean curd.
